BOUTIQUE
Description
*Rien à voir* is the fifth instalment in the chronological exhibition programme presented since 2017 at the heart of the Sainte-Anne Collection, which serves as a precursor to the future permanent museum. The aim is to explore in greater depth the concept of ‘psychopathological art’—already addressed in previous exhibitions—by examining more closely the processes of ‘interpreting artworks’ developed by psychiatrists in the 1960s and 1970s to analyse their patients’ creations. From an artistic perspective, the works on display are perfectly situated within the context of their era. The exhibition presents thirteen different artists, with a selection of around ten works by each. More than half of these works have never before been exhibited.
