SUPERVISIONS

The Centre d’Etude de l’Expression offers individual supervision of professional practices in art therapy for recent graduates who are starting their first workshops.

This supervision is also aimed at those who have been practicing for a long time and wish to reflect on their practice, which is necessary when working in the field of therapeutic and artistic interaction.

This supervision is carried out by highly experienced professionals who are also teachers.

All forms of artistic mediation are considered.

VISUAL ARTS

Corinne Montchanin

Psychotherapist. Head of art therapy workshops and visual arts mediation at CMME. Lecturer at the Centre d’Étude de l’Expression and Paris V University as part of the Master 2 program in “Engineering Specialized Personal Assistance Devices.”

Art therapist, responsible for graphic and pictorial mediation workshops at a mental health center for children and adolescents.

Eight 1.5-hour sessions, by appointment.

These practice analysis sessions are intended for art therapy students and professionals responsible for therapeutic workshops using graphic and pictorial mediation in an institutional or associative setting.

The aim of the sessions is to design or adjust a workshop proposal according to the context of the intervention. The space for individual reflection allows us to support the professional development of the art therapist, based on concrete situations and difficulties encountered. Together, we will question and analyze the issues related to the intervention framework and the therapeutic approach centered on engagement in artistic practice.

Sessions take place once a month.

VISUAL ARTS

Marie-Laure Colrat

Visual artist and art therapist in charge of graphic and pictorial mediation workshops at CMME.

Eight individual sessions lasting 1.5 hours, by appointment.

This training cycle aims to support professionals who have introduced visual arts into their specific support practices.

Based on concrete cases, these sessions are punctuated with reflections and artistic practices that offer the opportunity to understand the specific challenges of the creative process. As they progress, practitioners who have established mediation deepen and analyze what is happening in their workshops. Artistic practice will be developed as the central focus for exploring the relationships between support provider and recipient, developing the framework, and implementing the system in order to achieve the desired objectives.

PLASTIC MEDIATIONS

Nelly Nahon

Art therapist at Ballanger Hospital (CATTP & Psychotrauma). Lecturer at the Center for the Study of Expression. Associate researcher at CNCA (National Center for Adapted Creation).

Eight 1.5-hour sessions, by appointment.

These sessions are intended for students and professionals already engaged in practice or wishing to design mediation workshops.

By shedding light on practice through theory, we will consider the framework, approach, and support; we will look at how to implement them and adapt them to the specific situations encountered.
We will examine the nature and role of the art therapist and their practice: how to describe, convey, and promote it within a team, an organization, or an independent activity.
We will also take a very practical look at workshop practice: organizing sessions and materials, taking notes, writing reports, etc., while remaining attentive to the psychological movements generated by this exercise.
