DOCUMENTATION
The extensive collection of documents at the Museum of Art and History of Sainte-Anne Hospital was established in 1967. It includes a library, an iconotheque, and archives.
The library contains some 2,800 works, a collection of “brochures” (offprints, special issues, or articles excerpted from periodicals), collections of periodicals, and a collection of academic works on the links between art and psychiatry and art therapy (dissertations, theses).
The collection continues to grow today with the addition of specialized publications in the field of art therapy or related fields, as well as the acquisition of reference works on outsider art and exhibition catalogs. Particular attention is paid to the acquisition of foreign works and their dissemination to readers.
